I find myself in a desperate situation, unemployed, needing money, and facing eviction. I'm scared and embarrased. Hi Derek. Sorry to bother you, I see this was posted about a year and a half ago. I was wondering if you would tell me if posting this, actually did help your mom. I'm finding myself in a similar situation, about to be evicted, with nowhere to turn. Not a dime in my pocket. I don't have any family to ask for help. No "wonderful" son, like yourself, willing to take the steps you took to help your mom. Can you tell me how to go about making a posting such as yours, asking for help from the public. I don't know my way around a computer to well. I'm 56, and about to be put out in the street. I'm scared. I hope this finds its way to you, and that you have the compassion to respond.
